Rise Above's Resource Center is housed internally. We only provide information for those who have been vetted and is made available upon request. If you are a person impacted by the registry and are in need of finding assistance, please notify us through the contact us page. Please include your full name, what service you need and the county or counties you are looking in.  NOTE: Rise Above is a volunteer only program. Please be patient and we will get back with you as soon as we are able.
Housing 
 Housing is the number one issue facing many people on the registry. Please keep in mind we are all volunteers and will do what we can as quickly as we can to find resources for you to check out.
Employment

With the "Ban the Box" law in Illinois, it is easier to find employers who will hire people with a background. You cannot be disqualified in several positions due to your background. It is important to note that some fields, such as medical and child care, may not be open to certain backgrounds. Always double check licensing requirements prior to paying money for any courses.
